OEM/ODM Manufacturer Mask Kn95 - CE/FDA Certified KN95 Respirator Mask – VTECH Detail:
How long can N95 masks be used?
There is no strict standard for how long the KN95 mask can be used. If it is in a hospital environment, the KN95 mask is recommended for one-time use, because in the hospital environment, the chance of exposure to new coronavirus is relatively large, in this case, repeated use is not safe. However, if it is in a home environment, the chance of exposure to pathogenic bacteria such as new coronavirus is relatively small. In this case, KN95 masks can be considered for repeated use in a short period of time.
However, with the extension of use time, the protective effect of KN95 masks will gradually decline, so it is generally not recommended to apply for too long. From experience, it is not recommended to exceed 2 ~ 3 days. In addition, if the KN95 mask is deformed, dirty or wet during use, it needs to be replaced in time.
